Dr Gubbay is a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Hospitals, working across sites at Royal Free, Barnet, Chase Farm and Edgware Hospitals. He is currently the lead for Pain Management at the Trust and also is the chairperson for the Pain Clinical Network across North Central London.
He has worked in this industry for over 20 years. His interests include Difficult Airway Anaesthesia, Regional Anaesthesia and Day Case Surgery. He regards patient safety as paramount.
Dr Gubbay offers both a scientific and holistic approach to your suffering from pain, whatever the cause. From reviewing your pain medication and giving advice on how to minimise side effects to his comprehensive rehabilitation skills and interventional procedures to facilitate reintegration, he delivers a high standard of care that is both individualised and patient-centred, essential for effective pain management. His ultimate goal is to improve your quality and enjoyment of life whilst supporting the management of your pain.
Dr Gubbay is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists UK, a member of the British Pain Society, a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society, and a member of the Medical Cannabis Society.
